Kennedy Kubbies in Room B101

Hi! My name is Miss Sloma and I'm very excited to be your first grade teacher at Kennedy School this year! This is my sixth year teaching in School District 81 and I can't wait to meet all of the students and families! 

 

I graduated from the University of Iowa with an elementary education degree. After graduating I taught kindergarten for about two years and also received my ESL certificate. Over the summer I completed my Reading Masters Degree at Concordia University. Teaching has always been my dream job and I am so happy to be at Kennedy Elementary School. 

 

I enjoy reading, exercising, and watching movies. I have a huge family so I love spending time with them as well.
